Oh yes, I have seen Dark of the Moon. It is awesome and you should see it. Now.
...the slag are you waiting for? There are giant robots beating the slag outta each other in movie theatres across the US. You need to go and watch them.

TL,D wanna R: October, delayed 'cus they wanna cover the whole movie trilogy PLUS G1.
I still haveta find that magazine UNDER THREAT OF ENDEATHENING.
Awesome! Thanks. I've had my eyes open for the cards since I've been following Star Wars Galaxy 6 and now that's over so I was hoping Transformers would be here by now.
I did a YouTube search for "Transformers Dark of the Moon cards" and found one or two kids that had some DotM cards by Hasbro but I didn't understand how that was possible.
I think I will aggressively be tracking down the Transformers packs.
Well NonSportUpdate's got the Transformer issue available at their back issue order form so getting it shouldn't be too tough to do. Finding the cards themselves is proving a lot trickier.
I'm a little confused at the existence of two separate DotM card sets. From what I'm seeing at the Enterplay site, their cards are going to be dogtag/tattoo/sticker packs-

and

But the Hasbro cards look like they're a different animal entirely as shown in the two YouTube videos. One of the YouTube guys opens a pack and pulls two checklists out which sound more like what you described-cards from all three movies and G1.
I guess the October release date applies to both sets? At this point I'm thinking Ocotber is a conservative guess-they'll probably be here a lot sooner. One of the YouTubers is from Singapore so I'm guessing the packs he had are going to be hitting the states very soon.
Enterplay's putting out two sets, is all. Topps did sort of the same thing; they just took two flicks to do it.

Manufacturer of the cards in the videos you mention. Based in Hong Kong...answers all that.
Wingding's already seen the other peripheral items on their site. So, yeah, guess who has to spend time trolling eBay or finding HK sites that'll ship to the US.
(scowl) Man, I'd better get a couple of unopened cases of cards out of this...
I saw the dog tags at Target today!
