I went to the comic shop the other day to get caught up on three issues-All Hail Megatron 16, IDW's ongoing #2 and the first issue of the Bumblebee book. THEY ALL HAD BUMBLEBEE COVERS! They were the real Volksagen BB, too, not the movie one (that should really be called Sunstreaker). I wondered when you got a job with the IDW cover department.
Yeah, you should seriously pity Prime on this one: he has to keep buying all those covers for me. We are gonna be broke.
And what's great is that these are the best Bumblebee stories since the early days of the Marvel book. It's not totally just a cash in but an exploration of the character that I wish would have been done 25 years ago.
You've probably heard the rumoring about the next leader class figure coming out. As someone who only has two movie Bumblebees (the deluxe 2 pack from Target) I'm really excited about the idea. This will be my ideal movie BB if it's true. They should have done this last movie.
